ALOKE KUMAR SINGH

Aloke Kumar Singh is a Fashion & Accessories Designer, Illustrator, and Educator. He graduated in Fashion Design from the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Kolkata, in 2010.
In 2015, he partnered with British Illustrator, Artist, and Educator Mr. Neil Andrew Robinson to establish the first European-concept design school in Kolkata—and likely in India or even Asia—dedicated to promoting ethical and sustainable design practices. The institution offers specialized courses in Fashion, Interior, and Textile Design.

Sustainable Furniture Designer | Spain

Pepe

Pepe is a talented furniture designer from Spain who focuses on sustainable design. He creates beautiful and useful furniture using eco-friendly materials and methods that are kind to the environment. His work combines modern style with traditional craftsmanship, always keeping nature in mind.

Pepe believes in design that not only looks good but also helps the planet. He often works with recycled wood, natural finishes, and low-impact production techniques. Through his designs, Pepe shows how furniture can be both stylish and sustainable.

Christophe Plais

Christophe Plais is the founder and head of Terra Indica, a design workshop in Kolkata that makes beautiful wooden furniture. The team includes expert craftsmen from India and France who create special pieces for hotels, shops, and export to Europe.

Terra Indica is also a social project. It helps former street boys and girls by giving them education and jobs. Today, half of the team comes from this background. Christophe also started the Terra Indica Trust to support more young people and give them a better future through art and craft.

Prity Mallick

With an experience of both Indian and International curriculum from Pearl Academy, New Delhi and Domus Academy, Milan, Ms. Prity has worked with many designers such as Nandita Thirani, Sejal Kanoi, Rahul Mishra, along with brands like Raymonds. She was also associated with Fashion Design Council India and showcased at Amazon Fashion Week in 2018 with experience in styling for Times Bangalore Fashion Week. She has been teaching for several years in many institutes nationwide as well as in the international curriculum too.

Deeksha Banerjee

Ms. Deeksha Banerjee is an Architect/ Interior Designer and LEED Green Associate, holds a master’s degree in Sustainable Design from the New York School of Interior Design (NYSID) with a mission to aware young designers sustainable design as a necessity. She was awarded a scholarship by US Green Building Council to attend the most prestigious international conference and expo on sustainable design the Greenbuild Conference.

Saibal Karmakar

Saibal Karmakar – Painter and Printmaking Expert, is an award-winning Artist from the prestigious Govt. College of Art and Craft, Kolkata, is a Core Member of our esteemed team of Faculties.

Saibal has been exhibiting his Solo Exhibitions at various Art Galleries such as Residence Artistic Movement and Palm Lounge, Taj Bengal.

Srija Das

Ms. Srija Das has graduated from Raffles College of higher education Singapore. She has worked with many national and international designers. She is a young sustainable designer keen towards making the world a better place to live in by taking action against the harm being done to our mother nature. She deeply believes in “Fashion is not an island but a response”, Amanda Halley.

Debalina Basak

Completed Diploma in Interior Designing from Exterior – Interiors (pvt.) Ltd.

She has been associated with this profession for the last 14 years and has worked as a designer in Interior Designing firms also been part of projects for Axis BANK, HDFC Bank, etc.

Aparupa Paul is an Interior Design faculty member and 3D designer with over 5 years of experience. She is passionate about design education and dedicated to helping students become skilled, confident professionals.

Akash Saha

Akash saha he has a graduation in animation, graphic design and videography, content manager, social media manager has worked in many renowned design institutes also excels in designing software. He is young, enthusiastic and fresh on the edges of the lens. He is also a musician and has keen interest in gaming.

Alem Sardar has 20 years of experience working in the Fashion Industry. He has worked with reputed fashion companies including Micronesium – Kolkata, Ritu Kumar – Delhi.

Pooja Gupta

Pooja Gupta – Lakme Fashion Week Designer, is a Founder and Proprietress of the brand, “Door of Mai”, serves as our Design Faculty. She is a Core Team Member of the Fashion Revolution Movement, India.

With international exposure, she brings a wide range of Ideas and Education to our board.

Ankita Dokania

Ankita Dokania – Fashion Designer, has graduated from NIFT, Kolkata with a Masters Degree in Fashion and Environment from London College of Fashion, University of Arts, London, UK.

She has w­orked on a project with Procter and Gamble on ‘Classic’ perfumes and a shoe project with Helen Storey on the topic of addiction. She has also done extensive research on sustainable/organic materials.

Sneha Saha

Sneha Saha – Lakme Fashion Week Designer, is a Designer and Curator of the Fashion and Lifestyle Pop-up event. Her brand, “Siyahi”, was selected to showcase at the Prestigious Lakme Fashion Week 2013.

She is also the Founder Partner at Avoire– A multi-designer Fashion Retail Store. Her knowledge of Design, as well as Marketing, gives an edge to our curriculum.

Aavya Nath

Aavya Nath – Fashion Designer, Stylist & Costume Designer, is an all-rounder, with multiple roles in the Industry of being a Fashion Designer, Stylist, Make-up artist, and Model.

She has also designed Costumes for few Bengali Movies like Chitrangada, Kagojer Bou, and a few more.

Michael Crispin – Artist & Set Designer – Manchester, United Kingdom, is a professional Artist based in Manchester, UK.

Mike believes Art and design are important to society and to all individuals, and in that respect, it plays a pivotal role in promoting respect for our “Amazing and Beautiful planet”.

Sejal Kanoi

Sejal Kanoi – Fashion Designer, has graduated from NIFT, Bangalore. She has established Sejal Kanoi premium ethnic wear label for womenswear in the year 2002 and has also started zlato, a premium western couture label in 2019.

She has also worked with Levi Strauss Pvt. Ltd in Bangalore and currently is a director in Sezanie Lifestyle Pvt. Ltd based in Kolkata.

Gursharan Kaur

Gursharan Kaur – Lakme Fashion Week Designer, has graduated from NIFT, Kolkata with a bachelors in Fashion Design. She has also worked with Fashion Design Joy Mitra based out of New Delhi.

Having a thorough knowledge of different kinds of fabrics and an eye for new and innovative designs, she possesses an excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills.

Textile Designer, has a wealth of experience in Textile design, both within the industry and in education.

As an expert in traditional and sustainable textiles techniques and processes, Saathi brings a whole range of skills for the students to experience and learn from.

Aniket Sengupta – Phd Research Scholar at Neoma Business School, France, has a Master of Science in Merchandising, Apparel & Textiles from University of Kentucky, Lexington Kentucky, USA.

His Skills lie in brand development, production merchandising, philanthropy, garment buying and sourcing, quality management, event organizing, and fund-raising.

Anita Heinberg

Anita Heinberg – Fashion Designer – Berlin, Germany, is a designer, pattern cutter, consultant, entrepreneur, and lecturer from Vancouver, Canada.

She has partnered with Lectra Deutschland, Galeries Lafayette, and the European Institute for Participatory Media, as well as a number of independent designers worldwide – and is looking for new and exciting collaborations in the future.

Through her extensive skills and knowledge of Design, she promotes entrepreneurship and design thinking by offering unique students to her kitty.

Ankita Konwar

A graduate from the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Kolkata with a bachelor degree in Fashion Design. She has also completed her diploma on Web Design with a grade of distinction from Arena Animation.

She has also done styling in campaign fashion photo-shoot for magazines and social media uploads.

Brian Oknyansky

Brian Oknyansky – Shoe Designer & Architect – London, United Kingdom, is an international award-winning product architect known for inventing pioneering products that have taken him around the world as a lecturer and speaker.

Bryan founded Shoes By Bryan in 2012 – a London-based fashion and technology start-up pioneering mass-market 3D printed footwear unique to every single foot in the world while also looking, and feeling, great.
